More than two weeks have passed since the strike began in Cadereyta without reaching any agreements. In the Morena party in Querétaro, support for the municipal president, Astrid Ortega, has been reiterated, highlighting the review of the federal government's intervention to resolve the situation.
The president of the State Executive Committee, Gisela Sánchez, has emphasized the importance of the intervention of the Secretary of the Interior due to the lack of ability to assist from the state government, considering that Cadereyta is one of the 18 municipalities in the state.
On the other hand, criticisms have been expressed towards the media from the position of the municipal leader. Ortega has denounced that since her victory in the elections by a wide margin, her work has been discredited and undervalued.
Regarding the accusations, the party's secretary general, Alejandro Pérez Ibarra, pointed out the alleged intention of the PAN to obtain political gains by offering advice and protections to municipal workers. He stated that prioritizing welfare and reason is more important than political affiliations and accused the PAN of trying to take advantage of the situation.
Pérez Ibarra highlighted the importance of dialogue and the search for agreements as key elements to resolve the conflict in Cadereyta. The position of Morena in Querétaro is clear: support for the mayor and for federal intervention as ways to find a solution to this issue.
